How do you remember bible verses? One of the things that many of faith would like to be able to do is quote scripture from their memory and know it by heart.

Many place in scripture instruct the reader to meditate on scripture or write it on the tablet to their heart.

Proverbs Chapter 3:1-2

My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.

Psalms Chapter 1:1-3

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

These bible verses share the value of remembering bible verses or scripture. There are many strategies around memorizing or how to remember bible verses and one of the first ways is to visualize the scripture or create a funny story.

In addition to seeing the bible verses or scripture as images it is equally important to your memory to review or think about them. So creating a story and then going for a ‘Walk and Talk’ where you think about the images, the scripture and what the scripture means is a really great strategy to remember bible verses.
